Inspired by fashion, glitter wallpapers have slowly but surely appeared since 2008. Far from the ostentatious extravagance and bling bling trend of the 2000s, the creators have chosen refined elegance and luxury idea. Truly encrusted with glitter (they are mixed with the ink that tints the paper), these wallpapers can be completely covered with them or only with small touches. The "Pattern" wallpaper at Graham & Brown for example, has glitter only in the pistil of flowers. Others are spangled only on the outline of the geometric patterns " It's the beauty of things that doesn't attract us to their superficiality "explains Julie Josseaux, Marketing Manager France at Graham & Brown. Graham & Brown also offers in its new products for 2010, three glitter collections (Ulterior, Hanami, Spirit), with 10 different types of designs in each of them. Five colors are possible: black, white, purple, cream and brown. The patterns are delicate and refined evoking discreet luxury . We thus find flowers, baroque arabesques or geometric shapes. Some wallpapers play on the lighting effects and the shiny side stands out depending on the position of the material in relation to the light. "These wallpapers play on the effect of crystal and transparency," says Julie Josseaux. Discover below these refined and very contemporary wallpapers.
